The consultation on the Mount Barker Interchange Upgrade concluded on Thursday, 10 March 2022.
Our aim is to ensure we make the right decision that meets the project objectives and reduces impacts as much as possible. Investigations and assessment of the broader Hahndorf Township Improvements and Access Upgrade Project are continuing. Following the end of the most recent consultation period in mid-December 2021, all feedback is currently being considered.Ī final decision on the preferred interchange option has not been made. Access and efficiency for heavy freight vehicles travelling to surrounding areas was also considered. In 2018, a strategic traffic planning study commenced to address traffic safety, connectivity and liveability issues in Hahndorf. The Australian and South Australian Governments have committed $250 million to jointly fund the Hahndorf Township Improvements and Access Upgrade Project.
